Get Financially Prepared

Traveling the world will require having money, whether you have some budget travel hacks or not. Make sure that you have a designated account (preferably a travel savings) and put money away in it. A little bit at a time will still go a long way!

Slow & Steady Wins The Race

Don't overwhelm yourself at the start. It's alright to start small and then progress as you move on. Start by visiting a nearby city or country that is close to yours. This will boost your travel confidence and before you know it, you will build the momentum that you're looking for.

Your Surroundings Matter

Surrounding yourself with like minded people will help with your travel journey. There are so many travel groups out there. Do your research and get connected. Travel & Repeat will begin to host a group trip at least once every year. Make sure you are subscribed to know when and where.

Travel Within Your Means

In order to travel you must stay within your means. Go to places that you are able to afford so you can get the best experience out of it. Things happen so make sure you always have extra cash on hand when traveling.

Solo Trips

You may be ready to travel to multiple countries and others are not. That is alright. Learn to be okay with traveling on your own. Solo traveling can be safe if you are prepared!

Tip 1: Enroll in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (This program is free for U.S. Citizens to enroll with the local embassy in every country you visit)

Tip 2: Book your transportation ahead of time. Get Roundtrip transportation from the airport to your hotel and vice versa. Contact your hotel to set this up. If they don't have this, use ride sharing apps because they are trackable.
